Was enraged when I smudged my pointer finger there… Just like NOOOOOO I hate it when that happens. Especially cause with taping there’s all these little stupid pieces of tape and they stick all over everything and then you brush your hand against one and it sticks to a nail and you’re like  NOOOOOOO. And I didn’t want to just fix it with a little brush or something cause the base color is like layers of two different colors, so I didn’t know if I could get it to exactly match anyways and just… ugh. First world problems. But otherwise, these turned out pretty well.

I feel like I have mastered the whole gradient thing, so that’s cool. Can do it with so many different colors and types of paint and it’s pretttty awesome. I was going for a silver beam down the middle around the rhinestone but decided that was kind of weird  … Also, please excuse my cuticles.

Stamping stamping stamping!! Did a yellow-green gradient for the base and stamped over it. I love it. I love stamping. It’s so easy and makes such awesomeness. My roommate says its cheating and wants me to do hand painted designs… but stamping is just so cool!

Stamping attempt numbero dos! I’ve definitely gotten better at it since my first attempt. I think the trick is to work quickly so the paint doesn’t dry (could probably be said about anything nail-art related). My boyfriend did my right hand, but Mia promptly chipped that up with her sharp little beak. Silly baby bird.
